"When I initially joined the Foundation, I was honestly sort of excited to learn about the unexplainable, having lived a hilariously boring life.
That was a clueless me two years ago. Today, I miss that hilariously boring life--the life before I knew what kind of nightmares some of these facilities contain, and the procedures to keep some locked away. The life before I didn't hear about someone killing themselves every other week. The life before this place leeched me like it had to all of us. And the life before I could hear out of both ears.
I wish I could leave this place, but it's not that simple... I should have let them wipe me."
